release write-up » Born from the combination of the breakup of his long-term band and long hours in a restaurant kitchen comes Trois Heures, the debut release from Winter Park, Florida - based Singer/Songwriter/Producer Robert Paul. Named in honor of the three hour midday breaks spent holed up in his home studio, this four song EP bends the idea of the genre. It incorporates the influence of progressive, modern, and indie rock with hip hop, electronica and pop. Lush strings layer under and over guitars, thumping bass, carefully placed synth and intriguing beats. Keep your ears wide open as you swim through his ocean of sound. Look out for a full length release early 2011!
